A Kearney man has been sentenced on charges of attempted first-degree sexual assault on a child, and possession of child pornography.
Curtis Steier, 72 was sentenced in buffalo county court to over 10 years on the abuse charges. Three charges of first-degree sexual assault of a child were dismissed in a plea agreement.
Steier was arrested last summer for an alleged sexual assault of a 15-year-old girl in June, July, and August. Details on the offenses are sealed.
