#1 Singles – Emma Heacock 5-0 CHAMPION
Emma did a great job of playing consistent today. In the championship match the depth she put on her shots caused her opponent a lot of problems. Emma really gained a lot of confidence in that final match.
#2 Singles – Breck Holmes 3-2 5th Place
#1 Doubles – Cecilia Henning and Emilee Anderson 4-1 2nd Place
#2 Doubles – Malory Eklund and Hannah Wulf 4-1 2nd Place
“Overall as a team we need to work on starting matches stronger. We dug early deficits in quite a few of our matches today. However, I did like how we fought back in all of them and that we got stronger as the match progressed and the day progressed. Hopefully today’s result will give us some more confidence and we can build off of this result. All four divisions had flashes of excellence, but most of the games we lost were self-inflicted.
