Kearney, NE – BHECN-Central, Area Law Enforcement, and Community Partners are excited to invite you to Mental Health Collaborations and Community, an event that aims to inform the community and others about mental health resources in the community. The event will take place on Tuesday, April 18 from 5:30-8:30 pm at the World Theater, located at 2318 Central Ave in Kearney, NE 68847. Pre-registration is encouraged.
The event will feature discussions on various mental health projects, including the co-responder model, Crisis Intervention Team Training (CIT), crisis response, 988, Crisis Incident Stress Management (CISM), and suicide support. These projects are crucial to the mental health of our community, and we are excited to engage with members of the community on these topics.
In addition to the discussions, attendees will also have the opportunity to enjoy free food and beverages. The event is sponsored by the Kearney Police Dept, Buffalo County Sheriff’s Dept, BCCHP, Region 3 Behavioral Health Services, McKenna’s Rae of Hope, Lutheran Family Services, UNK Psychology, and Central Nebraska LOSS Team.
