“Although it was cold and wet outside, I am glad we had the opportunity to move indoors to the Ernest Grundy Tennis Center. Today was a complete team win as we had many girls contribute today. It was great to see some new girls take advantage of their opportunities today to play varsity matches. The girls also handled the change of venue very well. When you move indoors, the pace of matches is slower due to the fewer number of courts. I felt like our team handled the longer wait times in between matches well and we came out focused. Emma Heacock and Emilee Anderson continued to play well by winning convincingly in all of their matches today. They both do a great job of staying consistent, but hitting penetrating shots when given an opportunity to attack.” – Kearney Girls Tennis Head Coach Troy Saulsbury
