Nebraska lawmakers passed a bill that would allow permit less concealed carry in Nebraska.
On Wednesday senators in the state legislature voted following debate on LB 77, introduced by Sen. Tom Brewer of Gordon.
The bill would allow people to carry a concealed handgun without a permit.
The bill passed final reading on a 33-14 vote.
A background check would still be required to purchase a handgun.
The bill is now headed to the Governor’s desk to be sign.
