Nebraska and several other states have joined an antitrust lawsuit against Google.
In the announcement, Nebraska will partner the US Department of Justice alongside eight other states in an antitrust lawsuit aimed at breaking up Google’s monopoly over online display advertising.
The lawsuit accuses google of illegally monopolizing the online advertising marketplace by suppressing alternative technologies and their adoption by publishers, advertisers and rivals.
Nebraska is joining the amended complaint, alongside Arizona, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Washington, and West Virginia.
