KEARNEY – The Tri-City Storm is set to host tonight’s regular season finale at the Viaero Center in a rivalry game against the Lincoln Stars. Tonight’s combined promotion of Fan Appreciation Night, and Boy Scout Night, will close out regular season play. Tickets to tonight’s battle are going fast, and may be purchased online at www.StormHockey.com, or by calling the Viaero Center Box Office during Box Office hours at 308-338-8144. Puck drop for the matchup between the Storm and the Stars is scheduled for 7:05pm CT.

Doors will open early at 5:30pm CT to accommodate for the anticipated crowd. Throughout the game, random seats will be selected to win a variety of prizes from local businesses, gift cards, and team-autographed items. Ticket specials for the game include a Rivalry 4-Pack presented by the Nebraska Lottery. The ticket package includes four tickets, four hotdogs, four sodas, and two Nebraska Lottery Scratch-Off tickets for only $40. Fans are encouraged to create signs of encouragement to hang in the locker room during the team’s run in the postseason. Signs can be brought inside the Viaero Center during tonight’s game, or dropped off at the Viaero Center Box Office until Monday at 12:00pm CT.

Tri-City (33-30-4-4) will host the Sioux City Musketeers in a Best-Of-Three opening round playoff series at the Viaero Center on Monday, Tuesday, and if necessary, Wednesday. The Storm posted a three-goal win in last night’s road matchup against the Stars at the Ice Box. Graham Gamache, Daimon Gardner, Alex Bump, Cale Ashcroft, Trevor Connelly, and Cameron Briere all scored a goal in the road victory. Scoring leaders for the Storm entering tonight’s final game of the 2022-2023 regular season include Jake Richard (31), Trevor Connelly (24), Graham Gamache (20), Evan Werner (18), Kieran Cebrian (16), Alex Bump (14), and Dane Dowiak (14).

Lincoln (37-20-3-1) secured a 3rd place finish in the USHL’s Western Conference standings in last night’s three-goal loss to Tri-City at the Ice Box. The Stars will host the Des Moines Buccaneers early this week for a Best-Of-Three series in the opening round of the Clark Cup Playoffs. Jack Larrigan, Cole Crusberg-Roseen, and Boston Buckberger scored a goal for Lincoln in last night’s loss. Scoring leaders for the Stars entering tonight’s regular season finale include Tanner Ludtke (32), Doug Grimes (24), Mason Marcellus (19), Keaton Peters (16), Brennan Ali (13), and Jared Mangan (13).
