“This invite showcased the Top 8 teams from state last year. We feel privileged to have an opportunity to play such talented players every single match today. Overall I was very pleased with our performance even though we finished 8th. All six of our divisions either finished where they were seeded or finished better than their seed. This means we were able to upset some other teams today. All six of our divisions walked away with at least one win too. Our goal is to be in the Top 8 at state. Today gave us a great preview of what it is going to take to do that. We were also able to showcase some of our depth at this tournament. Claire Gangwish and Emily Larsen finished 2nd at #3 Doubles. Claire and Emily played really steady the entire day. They both played smart and aggressive doubles. Adyn McCaslin finished 4th at Number 3 Singles. Adyn did a nice job of moving her opponent around on the court. Her strategy was a key to her success today.” – Head Coach KHS Girls Tennis Troy Saulsbury
