Two new officers were sworn into the Kearney Police Department.
Officer Derrick Hosick #217 & Officer Micah Schroeder #245 were officially sworn in during the City Councils meeting Tuesday evening.
Hosick and Schroeder will begin Field Training the week of May 7th following in-house orientation.
In addition to Officer Hosick & Officer Schroeder, also joining the KPD is Recruit Officer Grant Buschkoetter #212, and Recruit Officer Michael Reeves #247.
Both will attend the 214th Session of the Nebraska Law Enforcement Training Center beginning April 30, 2023 with an anticipated graduation in August.
