“Overall the difference today was that we were able to win almost all of the close matches. We did a really good job of closing out matches and we stayed aggressive late in those matches. Claire Gangwish did a great job of stepping into the role of #6 singles today. Claire played extremely consistent and was very strategic by mixing up the pace of her shots. Malory kept switching up tactics that really kept her opponent guessing. Emilee was down 4-7 before coming back to win 9-7. Emilee did a nice job of playing high percentage tennis late in the match. She wasn’t patient enough early, but did a great job of adjusting late to get the come from behind win.” – KHS Girls Tennis Head Coach Troy Saulsbury
