Two Hall County businesses failed alcohol compliance checks.

Nebraska State Patrol investigators conducted alcohol compliance checks on several Hall County businesses Wednesday May 3.

In total, 15 businesses were inspected.

Two of those businesses sold alcohol to a minor for a non-compliance rate of 13 percent. All 15 businesses checked the minor’s ID.

The businesses that failed the inspections were:

  • El Toro Mexican Restaurant – Grand Island
  • Pizza Hut – Grand Island (South Locust location)

This project was supported in whole or part by grant #23116 under the Prevention Project in Grand Island.

Businesses that sell alcohol to a minor are referred to the Nebraska Liquor Control Commission. Clerks who sell alcohol to a minor are cited for procuring alcohol for a minor.
