KIMBALL – The Kearney Catholic Boys Golf team earned the top spot in the C-5 District meet, shooting a team-high 312 – over twenty strokes ahead of runner-up Amherst.

The district championship qualifies the Stars’ team to the State meet in Columbus next week. Kearney Catholic ended with all six of their competitors in the top ten. Led by Landon Edeal (75) in third, the Stars’ went three-four-five-six and eighth. Tate Redinger (78) earned fourth, Nash Malone (79) was fifth, Quinten Hogeland (80) was sixth, and Jackson Dunham (80) ended eighth.

Amherst was runner-up at 332 with Austin Adelung ended runner-up individually at 75 strokes.
