Two are dead after a head-on crash Thursday near Elwood.
At 5:06 pm on Thursday, Gosper County Sheriff’s office and Elwood Fire responded to the scene of a two-vehicle crash on Highway 283.
First responders administered emergency aid but both drivers, identified as 52-year-old Aureliano Macias and 58-year-old Glen Wolf were pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
