Buffalo County Courts have issued an arrest warrant for a UNK Football player.
Xavier Delk, 23, has been charged with one count of first-degree assault, a class 2 felony. The warrant outlines Delk is accused of causing serious injury to another man on May 14th, the same time frame as a string of shootings and a stabbing that happened in Kearney.
A group of UNK Football players were present at the time of the incidents. The charges were filed last Friday, and an arrest warrant was issued Tuesday. Delk has been suspended from all football activities pending the outcome of the charge.
