KEARNEY – The UNK Women’s Basketball team continues to make changes as a new assistant coach was named today, joining newly minted Head Coach Drew Johnson to Kearney.
Josh Burt, a former Newman Jets assistant, has officially joined the Loper Women’s Basketball program. Burt joins the program to assist in recruitment, scouting, and player development.
Burt joins Nicole Johnson – Head Coach Drew Johnson’s wife – as another assistant coach.
Johnson was named the eighth coach in program history on May 9 and replaces Carrie Eighmey who left to be the new head coach at Division I Idaho.
