JoAnn in the Conestoga Mall will be closing.
The store, which has operated in Grand Island since the 1970s, will be closing its doors at 6 pm Sunday.
A joint statement issued by Woodsonia, the company redeveloping Conestoga Mall, and JoAnn says they have reached an agreement to end a lawsuit between the two.
The suit JoAnn filed against Woodsonia was seeking millions in damages, claiming that Woodsonia and the Grand Island Community Redevelopment Authority attempted to force JoAnn out of their lease, which was set to end in 2027.
