Law enforcement have identified the body of a deceased man that was found on a locomotive earlier this week.
Authorities have identified the man as Bervardino Rodriguez Gonzalez, 56, of Altamira, Tamaulipas Mexico.
According to Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, his death has been ruled as accidental.
On Sunday deputies responded to a report of a deceased body located on a train in Union Pacific’s Bailey Yard, west of North Platte.
There deputies located the deceased body of Rodriguez in a small compartment used to use a fire extinguisher.
It appeared Rodriguez had wedged himself inside the compartment and closed the door, which he was later unable to open as it was latched shut.
