Kearney’s newest water tower will not be raised today.
The raising was rescheduled to Monday morning from Saturday morning because of high winds, and was canceled Monday because of contractor availability.
The city does not have a date set for the raising of the tower, saying that it will now be based on contractor availability.
The new water tower is located in the northeast portion of town, near Sunrise Middle School.
