Fort Kearney State Recreation area will allow fireworks this fourth of July.
Visitors can set off fireworks July 4th at designated firework sites from 8 a.m. to midnight.
Visitors are asked to pick up expended fireworks and supervise minors when discharging.
According to Nebraska Game and Parks Commision, several state recreation areas and parks will not be allowing fireworks this season due to drought conditions, except Fort Kearney.
