EUGENE, OR – UNK Track & Field’s Wes Ferguson continues to impress in the 800 meter run.
Ferguson qualified for the USATF Championships in Eugene, Ore. this week after three separate national titles (two indoor, one outdoor) in the 800 meters over the past two years.
The Fremont native ran in the qualifying round Thursday afternoon, finishing third in his heat and sixth overall with a time of 1:46.65.
Ferguson now moves into Friday’s semifinals. The 800 meter run begins at 9:45 PM CST from Eugene.
