The training has begun for the Nebraska State Patrol 68th Basic Recruit Camp.

Recruits will go through hundreds of hours of classroom and practical instruction, including life-like scenarios designed to simulate situations they will encounter while serving Nebraska.

“Over the next six months, they’ll build the knowledge, skills, and abilities that will prepare them to serve the people of Nebraska.” said Colonel John Bolduc, Superintendent of the Nebraska State Patrol.

Camp 68 includes eleven recruits from across Nebraska and Iowa. The recruits are:

Charity Allen – Hawarden, IA                       Ethan Anderson – Fremont, NE

Elizabeth Forbes – Palmer, NE                      Braden Heidbrink – Lincoln, NE

Alex Hutchison – Grand Island, NE               Spencer Kort – Schuyler, NE

Chad Reutlinger – Lexington, NE                  Kierra Stewart – Dodge, NE

Marco Vera Chavez – Alliance, NE               Melissa Vicente – Grand Island, NE

Rylan Weaver – Wakefield, NE

 

Camp 68 is scheduled to graduate on December 15.
