The Kearney Police Department is investigating a vehicle and ATM theft.
According to KPD, at an unknown time overnight Saturday, July 15 a 2006 GMC Sierra 1500 was stolen from Grandview Apartments. The pickup was later recovered at 8:30 a.m. at Sterling Apartments.
That same morning at 8 a.m., a Heritage Bank ATM located at 60th & 4th was reported damaged with the cash box removed.
It’s believed the stolen pickup was used for the theft.
The investigation is ongoing.
