Kearney was unable to preserve their unblemished mark in district play falling 4-3 in Game One, scoring three runs on five hits with two errors. Hastings won with four runs on eight hits and three errors.

In the high-scoring affair of Game Two, it was Hastings claiming the victory 12-11 to earn the A7 Title.

Hastings won, scoring twelve runs on fifteen hits and no errors, while Kearney dropped the contest scoring eleven runs on ten hits and one error.

Both teams move onto the state tournament as Kearney heads to Bellevue West and Hastings will host at Duncan Field. Tournament brackets are expected to be released later today.
