A Grand Island man has been arrested for multiple counts of sexual assault of a child following an investigation by the Nebraska State Patrol.
In May, NSP received a report from a victim of a sexual assault that had occurred in Boone County several years ago. Investigators soon uncovered both victims were in their early teens at the time of the assaults, which occurred in 2012 and 2015.
Investigators later located the suspect in grand island, identified as 35-year-old Jesse Voichahoske. Voichahoske was arrested Thursday for first-degree sexual assault and three counts of first-degree sexual assault of a child.
Voichahoske is lodged in Boone County Jail, the investigation remains ongoing.
