NEBRASKA – College Football as we once knew it, may be officially done.

Power conferences have officially joined the “super” conference conversation, as Oregon and Washington are expected to join the Big Ten after a vote by the Big Ten Conference’s presidents later today.

Multiple reports confirm that Oregon and Washington have notified the Pac-12 and other Pac-12 schools of their intention to leave the conference, just one year after the announcement that USC and UCLA would be joining the Big Ten in 2024.

The Big Ten will move from a two-division football format in 2023 with fourteen teams, to sixteen total teams in 2024, followed by the addition of Washington and Oregon at a date later to be announced. After the two former Pac-12 schools are added, the Big Ten conference will be up to eighteen total members.
