The Nebraska Department of Transportation is seeking public input for their 2023 Vulnerable Road User Assessment Survey.
Public input will be considered and utilized for the VRU survey, which will become part of the 2022-2026 Nebraska Strategic Highway Safety Plan.
Those that walk, bike, roll on or across Nebraska roads are considered as a Vulnerable Road User.
The assessments focus is to improve road safety and eliminate fatal and serious injury crashes for VRUs.
Responses will be taken until August 13.
