KANSAS CITY, MO – Nebraska Kearney’s Associate Athletic Director and Senior Woman Administrator Rachael Page was appointed to chair the MIAA’s Athletic Administrators Council.

Selected by her peers, Rachael Page will serve as the new chair of the MIAA’s Athletic Administrators Council (AAC) through June of 2025.

“I am honored to take on this appointment,” expressed Page. “I have enjoyed sitting on many different committees for the MIAA and NCAA, but getting to lead the AAC is an exciting step for me. I know that this role and experience can help me further my athletics career and I am looking forward to the new challenge.  I had great predecessors and can’t wait to see what the next couple years will bring!”

An alum of Nebraska Kearney, Page has worked in the Loper athletic department since 2014. She currently serves as the associate athletic director and senior woman administrator, overseeing compliance and student services. Page was a former student-athlete on the Loper’s swimming and diving team and graduated from the university with honors.

“Under our new MIAA Governance Structure, the AAC has greater duties and responsibilities related to the day-to-day operations of the conference and our member athletic departments,” said MIAA Commissioner Mike Racy. “We look forward to working with Rachael in her new leadership role of our MIAA AD and SWA group.”

The Association’s AAC is made up of athletic directors and senior woman administrators from all 14 MIAA institutions. The focus of the AAC is to review and act upon recommendations from coaches and other MIAA professional groups, while also taking actions related to officiating programs, championships, schedules and administrative manuals.
