Feast of Fools Theater will be hitting the stage this evening with their show “American Buffalo” at the World Theater.

“American Buffalo” is a David Mamet’s Obie & Critics Circle Award winning play. The story follows three small-time hustlers who want a bigger cut of the American dream. The David Mamet classic comes to Kearney and exposes a timely American truth: crime and business are two sides of the same coin.

The three-man show will star Bryce Jensen as Don. Jensen has previously performed in Crane River productions such as “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time” and “Miracle on 34th Street.” Jason Alexander as Teach. Jason’s performed in Kearney Community Theater and Crane River productions such as “The Games Afoot” and “Miracle on 34th Street.” Dashiell Alexander will star as Bobby. Dashiell has performed in KCT productions like “Jeeves At Sea” and “Beauty and the Beast”.

The show will run from August 10 to August 13 at The World Theatre in Kearney.

Performances Thursday to Saturday will be at 7:30 p.m. with a 2 p.m. matinee Saturday & Sunday.

Tickets are $25 general admission and $10 with student ID.

The show contains volatile language and is not recommended for anyone under the age of 14. No one under the age of 6 will be admitted.

All proceeds from this production are going to our inaugural “Bright Future” scholarship recipient.
