A Dawson County Commissioner has been arrested as part of a sexual assault investigation.
63-year-old Kevin Swanson is charged with one count of third-degree sexual assault. Court record state that in July, Swanson allegedly sexually assaulted a 21-year-old woman near Overton.
Swanson is currently out on a $15,000 bond, with the added provision of no contact with the victim and a witness in the case.
His next court date is scheduled for September 18th.
