Several local law enforcement agencies welcome new faces

On Friday several local law enforcement agencies welcomed new members to their agencies.

The Hastings Police Department welcomed new Officer Kassie Geiger, who was sworn-in and took her oath by Hastings City Clerk Kim Jacobitz.

The Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office welcomed their newest graduate Deputy Recruit Nicholas Lieth. He will be entering 12-week field training wit BCSO.

The Kearney Police Department welcomed back Officer Buschkoetter and Officer Reeves, who then jump into KPD’s 16-week field training program.

The Hall County Sheriff’s Office congratulated Deputy Rojas, Deputy Brunzell, and Deputy Markvicka.

The Grand Island Police Department welcomed new officers Bobby, Tanner, Jordyn, Zach, and Morgan.

All deputies and officers had recently graduated from the Nebraska Law Enforcement Training Center’s 214th Basic Class.
