KEARNEY – The Stars/Amherst Softball team found a way to pull a victory out late over Centura/Central Valley at Patriot Park on Tuesday night.
KCHS took an early lead up 1-0 before falling behind late in the second inning down 3-1.
Ultimately, the Starcos walked off the win with Pfeiffer Adkisson ripping a two run double to eek out a victory 9-7.
Kearney Catholic is back in action on Thursday with a doubleheader against Hershey.
