KEARNEY — A new restaurant has officially opened its doors in Kearney, Pizza Ranch held a ribbon cutting with the Kearney Area Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday, Sept. 13.
The Midwest based chain’s latest location will be 123 Third Avenue, south of Cinema 8 and the Kearney Canal and north of Quality Inn.
“Pizza Ranch is a fantastic addition to Kearney, with our full wide range of options, Legendary pizzas, The Country’s Best Chicken®, and salad buffet. The FunZone Arcade addition makes Pizza Ranch the perfect family-friendly outing,” said Jessica Kenyon.
The new location offers its buffet from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and carryout and delivery from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Pizza Ranch is closed on Sundays.
Kenyon said the Kearney location has hired a total of 85 team members.
The Kearney Area Chamber of Commerce was on hand for the ribbon cutting and Pizza Ranch’s First Bite Ceremony on Wednesday morning.
The franchisees of the location are Dennis Johnson, Brian Tooker, and Bambi Grady.
“Johnson has developed a passion for Pizza Ranch and its vision ‘to glorify God by positively impacting the world’, which led him to opening his first location in Bemidji Minn., this past January,” Pizza Ranch stated in a press release.
The business is headquartered in Orange City, Iowa, and has 212 restaurants in 14 states, it celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2021.
The other Nebraska locations include Columbus, Grand Island, Lincoln, Norfolk, Omaha and West Point, according to Pizza Ranch website.
