LINCOLN – Per a source and story from ESPN, Nebraska and Louisiana Tech will both likely start their backup quarterbacks for their Saturday afternoon matchup today in Lincoln.

The Huskers’ Heinrich Haarberg will receive his second start as incumbent Jeff Sims’ ankle injury limited him in practices this week. According to the report, Sims will be dressed and available.

The Kearney Catholic alum Haarberg led Nebraska to a 35-11 victory in Week Three over NIU.

Louisiana Tech will start their redshirt sophomore Jack Turner as starter Hank Bachmeier is dealing with a shoulder injury and will be available in emergency situations only.

Kickoff from Memorial Stadium is set for 2:30 PM. Listen to the Huskers on 1340 KGFW, 96.1 FM, on the free KGFW mobile app, and online at KGFW.com.
