HASTINGS – The NSAA State Softball Championship field was officially set Sunday, as teams across the state will arrive to Hastings Bill Smith Softball Complex on Wednesday to begin their bids for a title.
Area teams in action include Class B: #4 Hastings (22-9) and #2 Grand Island Northwest (21-6). For Class C: #1 Hastings St. Cecilia (26-6), #8 Gothenburg (24-10), and #2 Central City (31-3).
Wednesday and Thursday action will take place in Hastings with all championship finals being played on October 16 at Connie Claussen Field at the University of Nebraska-Omaha on Monday, Oct. 16.
