GRAND ISLAND — Two adult and two juvenile females have been charged with burglary, after stealing $2,000 worth of tennis shoes on Sunday, Nov. 5.
Around 1:13 a.m., a 24-year-old female reported that an unknown person had entered her residence at stole multiple pairs of tennis shoes, worth around $2,000, according to the Grand Island Police Department (GIPD).
GIPD officers contacted the victim who advised that she was able to identify the suspects involved in the burglary. They stated that four people had admitted to burglary and stealing the shoes from the home.
Adults Carmen Gonzalez and Isabella Davalos, along with two juvenile females were contacted and admitted the burglary to officers.
One juvenile was cited and released to a parent, the other was charged and housed at a juvenile detention center.
Both Gonzalez and Davalos were arrested for burglary.
