LINCOLN — The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office served a search warrant at the home of Tyler Goodrich on Monday, Nov. 6.

Goodrich, 35, was reported missing on Saturday, Nov. 4 and was last seen at his home on W. Burnham St. around 7:45 p.m. on Friday.

In an update on Tuesday, Chief Deputy Ben Houchin said the home had been searched multiple times before the search warrant was issued. He did not say if any evidence was located during the search.

Houchin said that Goodrich’s husband, Marshall Vogel and family are no longer cooperating with the sheriff’s office.

Another search around the residence was planned for Tuesday, with aid from the Lincoln Police Department and staff from the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services, where Goodrich was employed.

The last time Goodrich’s phone pinged was at 7:41 p.m. on Friday at his home and has not been active since, said Houchin.

The sheriff’s office had been dispatched by Vogel about a disturbance around this time, but when deputies arrived, Goodrich was no longer there.

Houchin described Goodrich as being, “off the grid.”

“We do not know what happened to Tyler Goodrich,” Houchin said, “Everything is open on what could have happened. We are looking everywhere and keeping an open mind on this investigation.”

Houchin said the warrant was executed on Goodrich’s residence, because that was the last confirmed place he was known to be.

Anyone with information on Tyler’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office at (402) 441-6500 or dispatch at (402)-441-6000.
