NEBRASKA – The 2024-2025 Nebraska High School Football district assignments have officially been posted, as statewide teams reshuffle their schedules for the next two years of competitions.

In Class A, the Kearney Bearcats are placed in the A-3 District and will compete with Columbus, Lincoln East, Millard North, and Omaha Bryan. Grand Island is placed in the A-6 District with Bellevue East, Lincoln North Star, Millard West, Omaha Northwest, and Omaha Westview also in the district.
Class B features Crete, Lincoln Northwest, Northwest (GI), Seward, and York in the B-4 District. The B-5 District stretches across the state, as Gering, Hastings, Lexington, McCook, and Scottsbluff share the district.
Class C1 has plenty of local teams, including in the C1-5 District Adams Central, Aurora, Central City, Lincoln Christian, and Milford. In the C1-6 District, Broken Bow, Cozad, Gothenburg, Holdrege, and Minden will face-off.
Class C2 has many local matchups featuring in C2-4 Boone Central, Centura, Cross County, Grand Island Central Catholic, Ord, and St. Paul. C2-5 holds Doniphan-Trumbull, Fillmore Central, Gibbon, Hastings St. Cecilia, Superior, and Wood River. Finally in C2-6, Amherst, Gordon-Rushville, Hershey, Kearney Catholic, Mitchell, and Valentine will compete in their district.
Heading into 8-Man district assignments, Class D1 has many intriguing districts. D1-8 features Arcadia-Loup City, Pleasanton, Ravenna, Sandhills Valley, South Loup, and West Holt. D1-9 has Alma, Arapahoe, Dundy County Stratton, Hi-Line, North Platte St. Patrick’s, and Southern Valley.
In Class D2, D2-5 has Axtell, Blue Hill, Elm Creek, Franklin, Kenesaw, and Wilcox-Hildreth. D2-6 features Anselmo-Merna, Burwell, Central Valley, CWC, Palmer, and Twin Loup. D2-8 has Bertrand, Cambridge, Hitchcock County, Loomis, Maywood-Hayes Center, and Overton.
Finally in Class D6 6-Man, Ansley-Litchfield, Hampton, Heartland Lutheran, Santee, Shelton, and Stuart will compete in the D6-3. D6-4 has Medicine Valley, Paxton, Southwest, Sumner-Eddyville-Miller, Wallace, and Wauneta Palaside.
