ANSLEY — A single engine aircraft crashed in Custer County during the afternoon hours of Sunday, Feb. 11.
According to the Federal Aviation Administration, the crash took place near Ansley at 4:30 p.m. The crash involved a Aviat A-1A “Husky” aircraft and is registered to Douglas A. Stunkel of Ansley.
The FAA report stated the pilot was the only person on board the aircraft at the time of the accident and they received minor injuries.
The cause of the crash is unknown and is being investigated.
