Nebraska Coaches Association 2024 All-Stars
NEBRASKA – The Nebraska Coaches Association announced their selections for the 2024 Nebraska Coaches Association’s All-Star basketball contests earlier this week, with a local coach earning well-deserved recognition.
Jeremiah Slough, the head coach for the Grand Island Senior High Islanders Boys Basketball program, has been picked as one of the assistant coaches for this year’s All-Star matchup at Lincoln North Star High School, slated for Wednesday, July 24.
Slough wrapped his tenth year leading the Islanders this past season. He will be an assistant coach for the Blue Team, led by Kevin Janata of Howells-Dodge.
Slough and his All-Stars will compete against the Red squad led by head coach Derek Reinsch of Fillmore Central and assistant Jason Ahrens of Conestoga.
