GRAND ISLAND — Mike Morledge, 74, the owner and chairman of the Board of Credit Management Services, has died.

Morledge died at St. Francis Skilled Care on March 23.

Morledge’s funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 27, at Third City Christian Church. Dan Naranjo and the Rev. Scott Jones will officiate.

Morledge was a Grand Island native. He graduated from Grand Island Senior High School in 1968.

Prior to his years with Credit Management, he was president and owner of the Collection Bureau of Grand Island, and Morledge and Associates, and Bank Service Company.

Mike was on various boards over his career. He was on the boards of St. Francis Medical Center Foundation, Heartland United Way, G.I. Chamber of Commerce, State of NE Collection Agency Licensing Board, Grand Island Independent Advisory Board, Central NE Regional Airport, and Grand Island Education Foundation.

He was recognized for his generosity in 2012 as The Grand Island Independent’s Man of the Year.

Mike enjoyed traveling, automobiles, motorcycles, music, and spending time with family and friends.

Memorials are suggested to the Heartland United Way and the Grace Foundation. All Faiths Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
