WILCOX — Weather permitting, work will begin April 8 on N-44, from reference post 20.03 to reference post 25.50, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation.
Vontz Paving, Inc. of Hastings is the contractor for this project. Work includes milling, asphalt, paving, culvert work, grading and seeding. Traffic will be maintained with pilot cars and flaggers. Anticipated completion is Fall 2024.
Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up, and to put phones down.
