KEARNEY – The Heartland Athletic Conference had adjusted its conference track meet to central Nebraska as of Monday.
The original host site, Columbus’ Pawnee Park, is expected to receive inclement weather compared to Kearney High School. Field events are expected to start at 11 AM with running events beginning at 1 PM. Teams competing for Tuesday’s conference meet include Grand Island, Fremont, Lincoln High, Lincoln East, Lincoln Northeast, Lincoln North Star, Lincoln Southeast, Lincoln Southwest, Lincoln Pius X, Norfolk, Columbus, and Kearney.
Fans expecting to arrive should park at the northeast parking lot of Kearney High School or via the roundabout.
The HAC track meet has been moved to Kearney due to forecasted severe weather in Columbus.
