KEARNEY — ALLO announced its intention to build a 100% fiber-optic network in Kearney in Aug. 2021, began construction in November 2021, and is happy to announce the construction is complete.

ALLO now provides local businesses, residents, and governmental entities with internet, TV, phone, and managed service solutions over an all-fiber network.

“Congratulations, ALLO Fiber, on completing the buildout of your fiber network. Our citizens appreciate your investment in our community and know you will contribute to our vibrant quality of life for many years to come,” said Kearney Mayor Stan Clouse.

Kearney joins over 40 other communities across three states experiencing the ALLO Fiber difference. Kearney’s 10 GIG-enabled network is built to serve the community today and for decades into the future. Community members can stop by the ALLO store at 5915 60th Street, Suite 7, to learn more about ALLO or sign up for internet, TV, or phone services. ALLO’s superior managed services and cybersecurity solutions can also benefit local businesses.

ALLO was named the 2023 Best Internet Service Provider in Kearney and was awarded Business of the Year by the Kearney Chamber of Commerce. The company lives by its local core value by being involved in the Kearney community. In 2023, ALLO attended, hosted, and sponsored 40 events, with 19 events confirmed so far this year. ALLO also recently announced the Community Connect Program, which gives ten local Kearney nonprofits free 1 GIG internet for three years.

Regional General Manager Dave Miller expressed his excitement about the end of construction: “Adding a fiber-optic network in Kearney means residents and businesses are future-proofed for all the evolving ways we use technology. Our goal is to enhance the ecosystem of how schools communicate with students, medical facilities with their patients, and businesses with their customers.”

ALLO will study the feasibility of extending its fiber network to unserved areas as the community continues to develop. Established development areas outside the city limits are also considered. Visit AlloFiber.com/Kearney for more information, to sign up for services, or to submit an unserved area for consideration.
