“Today was a solid win for us.  Grand Island has a strong team.  I was really pleased with how we started off in doubles by winning 2 of the 3 matchups.  In #2 we built a big lead at 6-1 before losing the next 6 games.  But I like how Ella and Bailey responded to come back and win in a tiebreaker.  Our topspin and pace on our groundstrokes proved effective today in the wind.  Emma, Emilee, and Addy continue to play consistent tennis.  Those 3 really set the tone by going out and winning convincingly.  Today was a nice way to wrap up the regular season. ” – Kearney High School girls tennis head coach Troy Saulsbury
