Planters are idle as rain continues to move across parts of the Upper Midwest.
In west-central Minnesota, corn and soybean grower Tom Frisch tells Brownfield spring fieldwork began the week of April 22nd.
“We got rolling, got going good. We had a great week, and then the rain set in and we had one day in (before) rain set in again so we’re kind of at a standstill. We’re hoping in the next day or two to get going.”
He’s planted a third of his corn and a third of his soybean crop and says there’s no need to panic yet.
