GRAND ISLAND — The City of Grand Island swimming facilities will open for the summer starting Saturday, May 25. All facilities are open seven days a week. Operational hours are as follows:
Island Oasis Water Park, 321 East Fonner Park Rd.
Mon-Wed: Noon – 6 p.m.
Thur-Sun: Noon – 8 p.m.
Lincoln Pool, 716 N. Lambert
Noon – 6 p.m.
Wading Pools
11:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
-Lincoln Park, 715 Beal St.
-Pier Park, 500 S. Oak St.
-Grace Abbott Park, 601 W. State St.
Splash Pads
9 a.m. – 9 p.m.
-Stolley Park, 2103 W. Stolley Park Rd
-Veterans Park, 2820 N. Broadwell Ave.
Admission for Island Oasis is $8 for youth ages 4 to 18 and seniors ages 55 and up and $9 for adults ages 19 to 54. A one-time family pass is also available for two adults and up to four kids for $32. Citizens also have the option of buying season passes. Passes are $100 for youth ages 4 to 18 and for seniors ages 55 and up and $110 for adults ages 19 to 54. Family season passes are available for $225 (family up to 4 members) and $275 (family up to 6 members). Families over 6 will be $50 per member.
Admission prices for Lincoln Pool is only $3.50 for youth ages 4 to 18 and seniors 55 and up and $4.50 for adults ages 19 to 54. Children 3 and under are free with a paying adult. Passes are $50 for youth ages 4 to 18 and for seniors ages 55 and up and $60 for adults ages 19 to 54. Family season passes are available for $105 (family up to 4 members) and $135 (family up to 6 members). Families over 6 will be $25 per member.
Wading pools and splash pads are free for children to use. No lifeguards are on duty at the wading pools.
