MERRICK CO., NE – Merrick County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a two vehicle accident Sunday on Highway 30 and 13th Road.
According to Merrick County Sheriff’s Office, on Sunday May 19, a pickup and semi were traveling southbound towards 13th Road. When the semi attempted to turn right onto 13th Road, the pickup collided with the rear of the semi trailer.
The passenger of the pickup sustained minor injuries and was transported to Merrick Medical Center for treatment.
Seatbelts were in use at the time of the accident. Alcohol and/or drugs are not suspected.
The Central City Ambulance and Central City Fire Department provided assistance.
