HOLDREGE — The Holdrege Police Department is seeing information after a firework explosion damaged a residence in the community during the early morning hours of Saturday, May 18.
Per the Holdrege Police Department, a group of several individuals threw an artillery style firework into the front yard of a home located in the 1700 block of West Ave. between 2 a.m. and 3 p.m.
The explosion would damage the residence’s garage door and front law. There have been other incidents of a similar nature at the same location, per Holdrege Police.
Phelps County Crime Stoppers is asking for the community’s help in identifying the people responsible. A $1,000 award is being offered for information in the case.
