OMAHA – The Grand Island Central Catholic Crusaders performed well during the 2024 Girls State Tennis championships, finishing as runner-up in Class B to Elkhorn North’s dominant performance.
The Crusaders had top finishes in doubles, as Carolyn Maser and Tristyn Hedman ended as runner-up in the No. 1 Doubles while Lauren Schardt and Kelsey Knapp were runner-up in No. 2 Doubles.
Hastings finished 8th with Kearney Catholic behind them. In Class A, Kearney finished ninth.
