GRAND ISLAND — The Nebraska Department of Transportation (NDOT) together with the City of Grand Island and Werner Construction, Inc. will host a press conference on Monday, June 10 at 1 p.m. to break ground on US-30 Grand Island West.
This group will discuss the construction of the 4-lane expressway and the realignment of existing roads to line up to the proposed US-30 alignment. This significant highway expansion project marks a new chapter in the enhancement of Nebraska’s expressway system and reflects NDOT’s commitment to improving safety, connectivity, and economic development across the state. Through the unwavering support of the Build Nebraska Act and the Transportation Innovation Act this project has been made possible.
